We’re excited to announce the launch of Open Dining Delivery, our new solution to let you satisfy the demand for delivery, without paying commissions or sacrificing your customer experience. You no longer have to send customers to third-party platforms to offer point-to-point delivery.
We’ve partnered with DoorDash to provide best-in-class delivery services, 24/7 support, and real-time order tracking. At the store level, you just prepare the order like a pick-up order, and DoorDash’s couriers will arrive to pick up the order and deliver it to the customer.
After an order is placed, customers receive a link to track their order in real-time.
Customers also receive text message updates of their order.
Open Dining Delivery simplifies the delivery process for your restaurant. DoorDash handles all delivery timing and logistics - all you have to do is prepare the order.
We understand that offering delivery through third-party services is expensive, for both you and your customers. Our solution is available for a flat, affordable rate, free of commission fees. With Open Dining Delivery, you control how the delivery fee is split with the customer by automatically adjusting fees based on a variety of variables including order size and time of day. On slower days, drive business by offering free or discounted delivery. When demand is high during busier nights and weekends, increase the delivery fee for your customers.
For example, it’s Saturday night and you’re busy.
Or, it’s Tuesday afternoon and you’re slow. To bring in more sales you can offer a discounted delivery fee.
Customers are kept within your Open Dining ordering solution, with your branding, and your marketing. You will not be featured on the DoorDash system, unless you’ve separately agreed to work with DoorDash.
